Women’s football on the Sunshine Coast grew significantly during the 1990s. Between 1995 and 1996 Women’s Soccer Queensland reported there was a 43% increase in registrations. The Sunshine Coast also produced their third Queensland Open player in 1994, Tina Ensbey.
